About Odeliza Jacoba
Mahalo Chicos,
I was born in the Islands of the Pacific, Philippines to be exact. My mother is half Chinese, German and Irish, Dad is a Hapa Hapa (Hawaiian for really mixed heritage). I have an amazing and loving Kuya (big brother in Tagalog), and a very intelligent and beautiful little sister.
I grew up mostly in two countries, one being North America and the other being the Pacific Islands. I studied in an all girl Private Catholic school, but raised as Buddhist and Christian.
When my mother was young she was sent to a Finishing school. At a very young age my mother was discovered in Asia and became a famous commercial model. With her exotic face and sexy body she was one of the top Euro-Asian models of her time.
My mother also enjoyed the art of preparing meals, dressing dishes, and decorating for family parties. I learned most of my motherly habits from my mom. Everyday including Sundays, she’d wake up at 6:00 a.m. and prepare for the days work. I followed along and now have this same pattern. Not only is my mother hen of the house, but she is also a stern and strong business woman. Right after my youngest sister was born she studied at night school to obtain her degree in Skin Care. For about twenty years or more my mother has owned, operated her own Skin Car Spa and Treatment Center. As well as created and sold her own skin care treatments for darker skin.
Before I was born my father practiced law along with my grandfather and I believe he wanted to pass it on to me. My father is super strict and wanted nothing but for his kids to complete their education in a speedily way. This is why I graduated high school at the tender age of 15-with good grades non the less- and obtained a degree in business before I was 20.
Even when I started acting at the age of 13 for t.v. shows, variety shows and commercial modeling- my dad always imposed a strict school first attitude. Now that I think about it, I appreciate what he helped me to become. A rather strong no non sense business woman.
Off and on I’ve been modeling for a bit over ten years and have worked in the business field of public work construction for a bit over five years. Of course I had my side hobbies as a Sous Chef to my Thai Family’s bistro, volunteering in my local girls club teaching young ones how to dance the hula, and starting a life with my other half.
My other half and I enjoy traveling around the globe living in one country for a bit and than checking out a new country. We have not quite decided where we’d like to plant our roots as there are so many different places to see and new adventures to live. But when we do, we both hope to have a large family with tons of kids and our puppy Midori.
As of now, we currently reside in Montevideo, Uruguay we’ve been here for three years, so far we like the places it has its up and downs, but we have each other and our puppy so we are always at home no matter where we are.
I have some current projects in the making, that I will share with everyone once I am ready.
